This presentation describes Pratt Center’s practice of integrating environmental sustainability and the arts in partnership with Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation, Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation, and Arts East New York. Pratt Center worked with these community-based organizations to incorporate environmental themes into local arts and culture and use arts and culture to engage and inspire constituents to take environmental action. This presentation provides an overview of Pratt Center’s Sustainable Communities Initiative and the projects undertaken through the Arts and Sustainability component.
