Following up on a 2010-2011 proposal to launch a sit-down restaurant and training kitchen on Farmers Boulevard, Pratt Center produced this national review of training and incubation kitchens. This presentation profiles a series of NYC incubation kitchens, which offer affordable rents and business assistance to small food enterprises and training restaurants, which provide job training in restaurant skills. Each review concludes with a list of best practices and key takeaways, as well as potential financial and partnership resources for Farmers Boulevard Community Development Corporation to pursue.
