Home Performance with Energy Star

NYSERDA's Home Performance with Energy Star program performs home energy assessments to find ways to save on energy costs. It is a great resource for homeowners interested in learning more about energy efficiency.

From NYSERDA: "Home Performance with ENERGY STAR makes it easy to upgrade the energy efficiency of your home. We’ll walk you through the process. When you take control of your energy use, you could save hundreds or more, and make your home more comfortable year-round."

Home Performance with Energy Star offers FREE energy assessment for households with incomes of $130,000 or less or a REDUCED-COST assessment for households with incomes of $130,001-$260,000; energy efficiency services provided by a certified and vetted contractor; quality assurance upon completion; grants for income-eligible households and incentives for all households; and low-interest financing to complete energy saving measures.

Owners of 1-4 unit homes in New York State are eligible to apply.
