Mariah Chinchilla is the Manager of Membership Engagement and Development for the Made in NYC (MINYC) initiative at the Pratt Center where she manages recruitment efforts and standing relationships with NYC member manufacturers. She also develops strategic marketing and consumer facing engagement for MINYC.
Prior to joining the Pratt Center, Mariah was an Associate Producer for NBC News and Entertainment where she focused on executing network marketing initiatives and created content for 200+ local news stations across the country. While at NBC, Mariah worked on major TV broadcast events including the TODAY Show, 2012 and 2016 Presidential Election coverage, and the 2016 Rio and 2018 Pyeong Chang Olympics. In her spare time, she co-founded the BRN GRL SPK Art Collective which creates opportunities for women of color to express themselves through poetry, music and events, with proceeds supporting non-profits like Black Girls Code, WeAct for Environmental Justice, and Freedom For Families. Mariah is currently pursuing a graduate degree in City and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute.
