Pratt Center for Community Development's Executive Director Adam Friedman and Policy Director Joan Byron participated on two different panels last Friday September 26th at the Solving Urban Land Use Problems in the 21st Century (SULUP21) conference, held at New York University.
SULUP21, a coalition of graduate planning students across four NYC institutions including Pratt Institute, convened urban planning professionals to discuss thoughts and strategies on land use in the contemporary city. Urban land use is an important topic of discussion for every city, but it is especially critical in New York City, where land is an increasingly finite resource. Adam Friedman discussed our work around Urban Manufacturing while Joan focused on Transportation Equity.
Thanks for SULUP21 and everyone who attended for a great event!
