Energy Champions Referral Program
The Energy Champions Referral Program is working to cut our energy use and grow green jobs in NYC through a partnership between community organizations and Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® Contractors by promoting home energy efficiency upgrades.
A typical home in New York wastes up to one half of the energy it consumes. That waste contributes to climate change and represents hundreds of dollars that could be in the pocket of the resident.The Energy Champions Referral Program connects owners of 1-4 unit residential buildings in NYC with home energy upgrades to increase home affordability and comfort and reduce carbon emissions.
We know that energy efficiency works, but we need your help spreading the word to your network. We invite you to sign on as an Energy Champion and be a part of the solution. For each person in your network whom you refer to the program, you can earn $200 for yourself or your organization for completed home energy upgrades. With each completed home energy upgrade, you are also helping a local company grow their business and create new green jobs.
